Description

ARRMA took the Kraton DNA and scaled it down into a compact 1/16 chassis you can throw in a backpack. The Mini Kraton 3S in teal and pink is a proper brushless basher that comes complete in the box, running a factory-fitted Spektrum 3S power system. It is fast, wide, and handles hard landings much like the full-size original.

Who is this truck for?

Experience level: intermediate to advanced, or supervised beginners using the restricted PowerKey mode.
Primary use: backyard bashing, loose dirt, skateparks and high-speed street runs.

Bench and track notes

Out of the box: the Spektrum 3000Kv brushless motor has real punch for a truck this short - on 3S it wants to wheelie instantly. Use the included PowerKey to keep the ESC in Adrenaline Mode, around 30mph, for the first few packs. Once the throttle curve feels familiar, plug the key in for Chaos Mode and over 50mph. The DSC receiver works well on loose dirt, catching slides before they become spins, and can be dialled back or turned off as you get faster.

Wrenching: the clipless body system is quick to remove and does not pack with mud like traditional body posts. The enclosed metal-geared driveline and sealed centre differential handle 3S torque without stripping, but keep an eye on the threaded aluminium shock bodies after hard flat landings.

PowerGuard - two trucks in one: run in Adrenaline Mode for 20-30 minute runtimes at a manageable 30+ mph, then fit the PowerKey to unlock Chaos Mode and 50+ mph.
Dynamic Stability Control: four selectable modes correcting steering on low-grip surfaces - dial it in for drifting or switch it off entirely.
Heavy-duty metal drivetrain: fully enclosed 4WD, metal gears, sealed centre differential and an indexed gear mesh plate.
Clipless body and tough chassis: fast battery changes without losing clips, reinforced components, large rear wing, wide front bumper and an anodised aluminium bash bar.

Yes - this version includes a Spektrum Smart 11.1V 3S 2000mAh 30C hardcase LiPo (IC2), a Spektrum S22 USB-C 3S charger, the Spektrum SLT2 transmitter with AA cells and the PowerKey. A high-wattage USB-C power block is optional for faster charging.

It runs on a 3S 11.1V LiPo with an IC2 connector - Arrma pairs it with the Spektrum Smart 3S 2000mAh 30C hardcase pack. The battery tray takes packs up to 112 x 34 x 23mm.

With the PowerKey fitted (Chaos Mode) the Mini Kraton 3S does 50+ mph on 3S. Without the key it runs in Adrenaline Mode at around 30 mph, which also gives longer run times.
