Description
Description
The Axial SCX30 Jeep CJ-7 Renegade shrinks one of the best-loved off-roaders of all time - the 1976-1986 Jeep CJ-7 - down to a 1/30 scale micro crawler you can run on a desk, in the garden or on a pile of rocks. This is the Classic version, finished in green with the classic Renegade-style body.
Underneath the officially licensed ABS hard body sits a short wheelbase SCX30 chassis with an angled skid plate, ramped axle housings and high-clearance suspension links. Weight is biased towards the front for steadier climbing, and the four-wheel-drive driveline runs on ball bearings throughout for smooth, controlled crawling.
Working front and rear LEDs and a detailed interior add to the scale look, while the clipless body mounts make it quick to get at the electronics. Everything needed is in the box, including a Spektrum SLT2 radio with throttle limiting, which makes it a great first crawler as well as a collector's piece.
