Description

The HSD F-16 is a foam scale model of the F-16 fighter in Belgian Air Force colours, supplied as a PNP (plug-and-play) version for turbine power. It spans 1344mm (52.9in), measures 1809mm in length and is designed for a 6 to 8kg-thrust brushless turbine, which is not included.

The servos, all-metal electric scale retracts, electromagnetic brakes, LED lighting and MFC-2085 control system come installed. To finish it you add the turbine, a 6-channel radio and receiver, two 2S flight-system batteries and a charger. It is a scale turbine jet intended for experienced turbine pilots.

The airframe is moulded in 20-times-density EPO foam with a matte water-based paint finish and decals, and comes with wingtip missiles, pylons and auxiliary tanks for scale detail. HSD quotes a flying weight of about 8.5kg with 1800cc of kerosene and a reference cruising speed of 150 to 200km/h.
