The Traxxas Jato 4X4 BL-2S pairs a brushless 3300 Kv motor with a reinforced, factory-fitted Extreme Heavy Duty parts kit, aimed at drivers who want a 1/8 scale buggy that can shrug off hard landings rather than one built purely for outright pace. About the Traxxas Jato 4X4 BL-2S
This is Traxxas's brushless 4WD Jato buggy, supplied Ready-to-Race with the Extreme Heavy Duty upgrade kit fitted from the factory, covering strengthened C-hubs, axle carriers, steering blocks and oversized Maxx-Duty driveshafts.
Power reaches all four wheels through a full-time shaft-driven system with sealed, hardened-steel bevel differentials and a heavy-duty slipper clutch, while a T-Bar stiffener reinforces the composite tub chassis. Long-travel, oil-filled GTR shocks at each corner and 4.5-inch Sledgehammer tyres on 78mm buggy wheels are built for absorbing rough landings, not just for a smooth track surface.
A BL-2s 3300 Kv sensorless brushless motor and waterproof BL-2s speed control, with Sport, Race and Training drive profiles, let the power be reined in for less experienced drivers. At 2.36 kg and 517 mm long it's a solid 1/8 scale buggy, and since it's sold without a battery or charger, those need to be bought and budgeted for separately.
