About the Losi Mini-B

This is the 1/16 scale, 2WD Mini-B from Losi, a scaled-down version of the 1/10 22 buggy built ready-to-run with a mid-motor layout and an aluminium chassis.

A brushed motor drives through a bevel-gear differential, with independent suspension on 7mm-bore, threaded oil-filled shocks that allow some adjustment for ride height and damping. The drivetrain runs on full ball bearings, bar the steering bellcrank, which helps it stay smooth-running as a first or second buggy.

A brushed 280-size motor and a 2.4GHz radio with a combined ESC/receiver provide power and control, and the 650mAh 2S LiPo battery and USB charger are both included, so only four AAA batteries for the transmitter are needed to get going. It's best suited to grass, hard-standing or a car park rather than rough off-road terrain, making it a good small-scale option for a first buggy or for indoor and garden driving. This example is finished in Black/White.
