Axial SCX24 1/24 scale four-wheel-drive rock crawlers.
At 1/24 scale the SCX24 fits in one hand, but it is a four-wheel-drive rock crawler with solid axles, oil-filled shocks, a licensed body shell and a real transmission. It is small enough to drive indoors or round the garden, and a good first crawler.
The bodies
Axial license the shells, so the SCX24 range covers the Jeep Wrangler JLU, Jeep Gladiator, Ford Bronco, Dodge Power Wagon, Toyota 4Runner, Lexus GX 470 and both the 1967 and 1971 Chevrolet C10. Most come in two or three colour schemes. Mechanically they are the same truck, so pick the one you like the look of.
Ready to run
Every SCX24 is sold ready to run with the electronics fitted, and several include a battery and charger. Check the listing - the Ford Bronco versions in particular are sold as complete packages.
Where it runs
A rockery, a kerb, a gravel drive or a pile of logs all become terrain for a small crawler, so you do not need to travel to find somewhere to run it.
