FTX Vantage

The FTX Vantage 2.0 is a 1/10 scale 4WD off-road buggy - low, light and quick, and one of the most affordable ways into a proper hobby-grade RC car. Buggies are the fastest thing over hard-packed dirt and short grass, and the Vantage is forgiving enough to learn on.

Brushed or brushless?

• Vantage 2.0 Brushed - the standard version, ready to run. Quick enough to be genuinely fun and the cheaper of the two.
• Vantage 2.0 Brushless - a large step up in speed, supplied with a LiPo battery and charger so there is nothing else to buy.

Both are 4WD with oil-filled shocks and waterproof electronics, so damp grass and puddles are not a problem.

Buggy or monster truck? A buggy sits lower and is faster on smooth ground; a monster truck has more clearance and handles rough terrain and bigger jumps better. If you mostly drive on a field or a track, the Vantage. If you want to jump it off things, the Carnage.
