TEAM ASSOCIATED MT12+ LUX AS40012C

This 1/12 scale monster truck is built as a complete RTR package, with battery and charger included, so it's aimed at drivers who want to charge up and drive rather than build a chassis or source electronics separately. The steel ladder-frame chassis and solid rear axle give it an old-school monster truck feel rather than a modern independent-suspension basher. It's a solid step-up truck for someone moving on from a toy-grade RC.

About the Team Associated MT12+ LUX

The MT12+ LUX is Team Associated's 1/12 scale monster truck, sold ready-to-run with the chassis, body, motor and electronics already assembled, plus the battery and charger needed to get it moving.

Underneath, it runs a steel ladder-frame chassis with open front and rear differentials, steel 4-link bars and servo-on-chassis steering, geared at an internal ratio of 13.98:1 through metal front CVA driveshafts and a rear solid axle with a 12mm hex. Sixteen metal-shielded ball bearings keep the drivetrain turning smoothly, and oil-filled shocks with threaded bodies handle the damping.

Power comes from a Reedy brushed 400 motor (3300rpm) run through a Reedy Power speed controller, driven with the included 2.4GHz XP transmitter and a 1500mAh 7.4V 2-cell Li-Ion battery and charger in the box. It's a brushed, moderate-pace setup rather than an outright basher, which makes it a reasonably forgiving truck for a driver who has outgrown a toy-grade model but isn't ready for brushless power yet.
