About the Team Associated Pro4 SC10

The Pro4 SC10 is Team Associated's 4WD take on the short-course truck, built to bring the four-wheel-drive traction of full-size off-road trucks to a factory-finished, ready-to-run package. It's aimed at drivers who want the extra grip and stability of 4WD over a 2WD short-course truck, rather than a first RTR straight out of the box.

Drive runs through three sealed gear differentials and four-wheel independent suspension, with threaded, oil-filled coil-over shock absorbers keeping all four corners planted over rough short-course terrain. Impact-absorbing front and rear bumpers with LEDs and Fifteen52 Turbomac HD wheels wrapped in General Tire GT Grabber all-terrain tyres round out a chassis built to take hits at speed.

Power comes from a Reedy 3300kV brushless motor and a water-resistant Reedy speed control with LiPo cutoff, driven through a 2.4GHz radio and a high-torque digital servo with a spring-style servo saver. It's quick and capable on a proper short-course track or firm off-road surface, but the extra traction and weight of 4WD mean it isn't the cheapest or lightest way in — budget for a compatible battery, a charger and four AA batteries for the transmitter before you can run it.
