Description

The Stratos 700 is XLPower's all-new 700-class 3D helicopter, built around a stiffer frame, a lower, more compact layout and a reworked drivetrain aimed squarely at hard-hitting extreme 3D. It is the big brother to the Stratos 200 and uses the same short, reverse-mounted phase arm head design that gives the range its locked-in, predictable feel.

XLPower has strengthened almost every load path. A larger one-way bearing runs in an integrated, zero-play 19mm sleeve; the swashplate moves up to a bigger double-row bearing; and the belt-driven tail gets an 8mm tail shaft, 6mm tail spindle and uprated bearings throughout. A new profiled aluminium tail boom carries the one-piece titanium tail pushrod fully inside it, and the main shaft and intermediate assembly now sit 15mm lower to keep the mass centralised for sharper stops and direction changes.

The frame uses 2.5mm upper and 2mm lower carbon plates with chamfered edges, internal wiring channels that do away with cable ties, and a rear-loading battery tray that locks into arched rails so the pack stays put under heavy deceleration. A one-piece motor mount and an integrated main shaft block and servo mount keep servicing quick despite the extra rigidity.

This version (ST70K02) comes with Azure Power 700 Pro main blades and 105 Pro tail blades.
