The DR28 Lucas Oil is a micro drag racer built on Team Associated's 1/28 scale RTR platform, finished with the Lucas Oil livery on a painted body. Everything needed to drive is built in, making it an easy, low-cost way into RC drag racing for newer drivers.

The DR28 Lucas Oil is a 1/28 scale, 2WD ready-to-run drag racing car carrying the Lucas Oil livery on its painted body, and it arrives fully assembled with no setup needed before its first run.
The electronics are built directly into the chassis, with an integrated ESC/receiver unit and a proportional servo doing away with the separate components found on larger RC cars, while staggered-size foam tyres front and rear are shaped for drag-strip launches rather than general bashing.
Power comes from a built-in rechargeable LiPo pack, charged through the 2.4GHz transmitter's own integrated charger, so there's no separate charger or battery to buy. Its small size and light weight make it best suited to a smooth, flat surface indoors or in a garage rather than rough ground, and it's a straightforward option for a newer driver or as a second, easy-to-store car alongside a larger RC.
