Who is this truck for?
- Experience level: beginners stepping up to brushless, or experienced drivers wanting a pocket basher.
- Primary use: backyard dirt tracks, loose gravel, sweeping drifts and skatepark transitions.
- Age suitability: 14+, though younger drivers manage it well on 2S.
Bench and track notes
Out of the box: the 223S BLX system transforms the Grom platform, and the flexibility to run 2S or step up to 3S makes a real difference in a truck this size. On 2S it is predictable and forgiving for tighter spaces; on 3S it becomes genuinely quick and carries momentum through loose dirt corners. The long-wheelbase desert truck layout gives it better high-speed stability than a standard mini monster truck, so it will powerslide across gravel convincingly.
Wrenching: the Grom series is easy to maintain - the clipless body and modular front and rear bulkheads mean arms can be swapped or packed dirt cleared in minutes. Check the wheel nuts and shock pivot balls after the first few 3S runs.
Key features
- 223S BLX brushless power: factory-fitted brushless motor and waterproof ESC, built for 2S and 3S LiPo. 35+ mph on 2S, 50+ mph on 3S.

- Spektrum 2.4GHz radio: dependable control with crisp steering and throttle response.
