I am an enthusiast with a great passion for remote controlled aircraft. It was with great excitement to get my hands on the 230S Blade.

In this review, I'll share my experience and expertise with this remarkable helicopter while highlighting its standout features and performance. So let's dive in and explore why the Blade 230 S is a game-changer in the world of micro helicopters.

Blade 230s

Product review

As RC Model Helicopter flyer, I have had the pleasure of testing numerous helicopters over the years. I understand the difficulties of design improvement and different flight characteristics.

The Blade 230 S is an exceptional collective pitch heli model. It blends the latest technology with user-friendly features. This makes it ideal for pilots of all levels - from beginners to those with more experience.

I had the chance to thoroughly test the Blade 230S in different flying conditions. This confirms the accuracy of my review. I flew it indoors, outdoors, and even in mildly windy conditions to evaluate its performance and stability. This firsthand experience allows me to provide an honest and comprehensive review.

Performance Evaluation

The Blade 230 S boasts exceptional performance in several key areas. Let's break down its performance characteristics:

  2. Flight Modes: With progressive flight modes, the Blade 230 S assists pilots in improving their aerobatic skills gradually. This feature allows pilots to push their boundaries while maintaining control and safety.
  3. Panic Recovery Mode: One of the standout features of the Blade 230 S is its panic recovery mode. This ingenious function helps the helicopter regain a heli to a level attitude in case of unexpected maneuvers or pilot errors. It acts as a safety net, allowing pilots to fly with confidence and peace of mind.
  4. Rotor System and Motors: Equipped with a collective pitch rotor system with a brushless main and brushless tail motor delivering performance. The Blade 230S delivers exceptional power and response. The flybarless mechanics contribute to smoother flight characteristics and more precise control.

  6. Tail Rotor: The fixed-pitch, motor-operated tail rotor might have some limitations in reacting quickly to torque changes. However, this does not significantly affect beginner or intermediate pilots. The tail rotor's performance remains commendable within the target audience's skill range.
  7. Smart capable spektrum transmitters and providing a great amount of information in flight.
  8. Ready to fly version, offers a complete single package allowing new beginners to instantly enjoy the model straigtht from the box. The main RTF model containing a smart s120 usb charger and battery, with a dxs transmitter spektrum smart.
  9. High visibility vivid canopy providing a good view, along with strength with metal gear cyclic servos providing a better flight.
