The E-flite UMX Turbo Timber Evolution BNF Basic is a 698mm (27.5in) wingspan ultra-micro STOL and sport plane, supplied receiver-ready for Spektrum DSMX/DSM2 transmitters with AS3X stabilisation and SAFE Select. It is a compact member of the Turbo Timber family and arrives fully assembled with brushless motor, receiver/ESC and five linear servos installed.
It is built for very short take-offs and landings, but also handles sport flying and aerobatics. Optional leading edge slats are supplied, the airframe has been reinforced with stronger linkages, and the sturdy undercarriage copes with rougher surfaces. Optional floats are available separately.
The brushless system runs on 2S or 3S LiPo packs, and factory-installed LED landing, navigation and strobe lights add realism. Real-time telemetry is available with compatible Spektrum transmitters.
