Jumbo Servos

Jumbo Servos

Jumbo (giant or quarter-scale) servos are larger than a standard servo and built for the biggest loads: steering on 1/5 and 1/6 scale cars and trucks, large petrol-powered models and giant scale aircraft control surfaces.

What to look for

• Torque: jumbo servos often deliver 25kg to well over 40kg – use the Torque kg filter.
• Voltage: many are HV and run direct from 2S LiPo; check your receiver pack or BEC can supply the current.
• Waterproofing and metal gears for off-road bashing and heavy-duty use.
• Servo output spline: check the horn or servo saver fitment for your model (for example 25T or 15T).

Brands include Savox and Spektrum. See Servo Spares for replacement gears, horns and cases.
