FTX B4X 4WD 1/10 RC Race Buggy Roller Chassis - FTX5468

The FTX B4X Roller Chassis is the rolling platform from the B4X 1/10 4WD race buggy, supplied without motor, radio, servo or ESC so you can build the electronics package of your choice around a race-proven chassis. It suits racers and experienced builders who already have preferred electronics on hand, rather than newcomers wanting an out-of-the-box vehicle, and it gives you a lighter, more customisable starting point than buying a complete RTR buggy and stripping out its electronics.

About the FTX B4X Roller Chassis

This is the same 1/10 4WD race buggy platform used in the B4X RTR, sold as a roller: chassis, drivetrain and suspension are complete and pre-built, but there's no motor, ESC, servo or radio fitted, and the polycarbonate body is supplied clear and unpainted.

The chassis itself is 2.5mm 7075-T6 aluminium with carbon fibre front and rear shock towers, running a shaft-driven 4WD transmission with front, centre and rear metal geared differentials and full rubber-sealed ball bearings throughout. CNC large-bore, hard-anodised shocks and variable pill inserts allow the suspension geometry to be tuned, so the chassis can be set up for a specific track in the same way as the complete RTR buggy.

Because it's a roller, you'll need to source and fit your own motor, ESC, servo, radio system and wheels/tyres before it will run, plus paint for the body if you want it finished rather than clear. That makes it a better fit for someone building to a specific spec or reusing electronics from another buggy than for a first RC purchase; expect a proper building and setup session before it's ready to drive.
