Noise, Smell And Power – The Nitro Khaos Is Here!

For those who believe an RC car should sound as exciting as it looks, the Nitro Khaos brings internal combustion power to the Khaos platform. At its heart sits an SH .21 (3.48cc) pull-start 2-stroke engine, delivering the sound, smell, excitement and hands-on experience that only a nitro-powered RC car can provide.

Factory assembled with the engine and polished aluminium tuned pipe and manifold fitted, Etronix EX4M 2.4GHz radio system installed and aggressive body fully finished, the Nitro Khaos arrives 99% Ready-To-Run. Add your transmitter batteries, nitro fuel, fuel bottle and glow starter and you'll soon have the Khaos fired up and leaving its distinctive vapour trail in its wake.

Beneath the body, a tough 3mm 6061/T6 aluminium main chassis provides the foundation for a rugged 4WD shaft-driven transmission. Front and rear geared differentials feature metal gears, while metal crown and pinion gears, front and rear universal CVA driveshafts and 12mm aluminium wheel hexes help transfer the engine's power to the ground. Front and rear centre chassis braces add further support, while the unique gearbox layout is designed to keep the centre of gravity low.

A 3-shoe clutch provides smooth engagement as the revs rise, with the polished aluminium tuned pipe and manifold helping the SH .21 deliver its characteristic nitro power band. A generous 125cc fuel tank provides longer running between refills, while dual disc brakes provide the stopping power when it's time to rein the Khaos back in.

The balanced chassis layout positions the engine and fuel tank opposite the enclosed receiver box and aluminium servo tray, with an Etronix 9kg metal-geared waterproof steering servo providing strong and dependable steering control.

Long-travel suspension and adjustable big-bore oil-filled shock absorbers give the Nitro Khaos plenty of ability when the terrain gets rough. Lightweight high-impact suspension arms are joined by aluminium front and rear suspension mounts, while adjustable upper suspension and steering turnbuckles allow the set-up to be fine-tuned to suit the conditions.

There's plenty of adjustability built into the chassis too, including droop, camber, toe-in and wheelbase, while full ball bearings throughout help keep the drivetrain running freely. The high-impact front bumper is even ready to accept an optional LED light set for those who want to add another dimension to their Khaos.
