How to complete an AVC Calibration on Arrma Cars

AVC Calibration:

Upon initial setup after the first bind, the model must be configured for servo direction, trim and travel. Then the receiver must be rebound and calibrated to those settings for proper operation. Centre the steering trim and throttle trim, confirm throttle limit is on 100%, brake/AVC and steering rate knobs fully clockwise, on the transmitter before beginning. Connect a well charged battery to the electronic speed controller, don’t turn on yet.

Receiver, while holding the bind button down (Spektrum logo), power on the electronic speed controller, LED will flash

Transmitter, hold a meter away from the receiver, and but into bind mode, the Rx LED will flash.
The bind process is complete when the orange LED on the receiver remains lit. At this stage the receiver is connected but must complete calibration before it will operate.
Pull the transmitter trigger to full throttle, the LED will dim, pause, then return the trigger to centre, LED will go bright.
Push the transmitter trigger to full brake, the LED will dim, pause, then return the trigger to centre, LED will go bright.
Turn the transmitter steering wheel to full right, the LED will dim, pause, then return the wheel to centre, LED will go bright.
Turn the transmitter steering wheel to full left, the LED will dim, pause, then return the steering wheel to centre. The orange LED will be solid to confirm the settings have been accepted.
Turn off the vehicle to complete the binding and calibration process.

ESC calibration, (page 11 of the manual):

Place vehicle off the ground, or disconnect a motor connection

Connect vehicle batteries, turn on the TX

Press/hold down the ESC set button ‘A’ (small). Press the power switch on ‘B’ and release the set button when the RED light flashes on the ESC
TX in neutral - press set button (1 x green flash led)
TX full throttle - press set (2 x green flashes led)
TX full brake - press set (3 x green flashes led)
Switch off ESC to complete and store the setup.
