ESC keeps hitting the low voltage cut out after only a minute or two of runtime on my Arrma Vortek

Having come across this before we know what to check and advise to solve the issue.

The Arrma Vorteks is designed as a speed truck coming fitted standard with a 18t pinion, and a 20t option pinion in the speed pack. Because of these bigger pinions the manual states that the minimum Lipo battery requirement is 50C 5000mAh. If an under minimum spec Lipo is being used, or a Lipo with a connector adapter is being used then the LVC detection will cut in as being seen. Also we have found that some cheaper Lipo packs (under £45 say) which state a high C rating, are not as good as stated, and do cause LVC issues. The LVC voltage is set to around 3.4volts per cell, so very safe to protect the customers Lipo's, so a cheaper Lipo will see the voltage drop easier to achieve, especially if the Lipo is used or stored in cold conditions.

Understanding LVC is cutting in so soon this does point to a Lipo power issue, but also being setup as a speed truck (road / dirt tracks use), to run it consistently on the more resistant grassy conditions it would benefit by the motor pinion being replaced with a smaller version. The car will accept pinions down to 13tooth, to provide more torque and acceleration for use on more resistant conditions, we would suggest a 15t pinion (ARA310998) to provide a similar gear ration to the Granite.
