Align-Trex Bench & Track Notes
- Dirt Protection: The inner roll cage and scale body do a fantastic job keeping debris out of the chassis. During our off-road testing in damp sand and loose gravel, very little dirt reached the Firma ESC and motor housing.
- Shock Setup: The oil-filled shocks come well-damped from the factory for large scale jumps. If you frequently jump off high ramps, stepping up shock oil viscosity by +50cSt gives a bit more bottom-out protection without sacrificing small-bump traction.
- Body Care & Maintenance: Because the body wraps closely around the inner roll cage, applying drywall tape and shoe goo to the inside body contact points prevents body shell rub-through during long sessions of heavy bashing.
