Traxxas RC Cars

Traxxas build some of the best-known ready-to-run RC cars and trucks in the hobby. Everything here is UK stock, backed by the spares to keep it running - which matters more with Traxxas than most brands, because these get driven hard.

Monster trucks

• Maxx - 1/10 4WD brushless. The mainstream choice and the one most people start with.
• X-Maxx - 1/7 8S. The largest in the range; serious space required.
• Sledge - 1/8 brushless, sitting between the Maxx and the X-Maxx.
• Stampede - 2WD and 4X4, a budget-friendly way in.

Trail and scale crawlers

• TRX-4 - the scale crawler, including the Land Rover Defender and Bronco bodies.
• TRX-4 Sport - same platform, simpler body, lower price.
• TRX-4M - 1/18 scale. Crawls a garden or a living room.

Race and short course

• Slash - 2WD and 4X4 short course truck.
• Rustler - stadium truck, 2WD and 4X4.
• Bandit - 1/10 2WD buggy.
• XRT - 8S race monster truck.

1/18 scale

• Mini Maxx and Mini XRT - the full-size trucks shrunk down, and far easier to run somewhere small.

Not sure which? Monster trucks are for jumping and bashing. Crawlers are for slow, technical driving over rocks and roots. Short course and stadium trucks are quick on open ground. If it is a first RC car, the Stampede or a 1/18 model is the easier place to start.
