SAB ilGoblin 520 Electric 520-Class RC Helicopter Kit - SG525

The SAB ilGoblin PRO 520 is an electric 520-class 6S helicopter built on the proven Goblin RAW 500 platform. It shares many spare parts with the RAW 500. It suits sport and 3D pilots who want a compact, hard-wearing Goblin with the ilGoblin PRO styling and a set of SAB blades in the box.

SAB has changed several things compared with the RAW 500. There is a new ilGoblin PRO canopy and boom shape, and the scheme follows the ilGoblin 700. The one-way bearing is stronger (12 mm), and a 13 mm motor belt is used for higher head speeds. The tail belt drive runs more smoothly. The tail servo is mounted at the front, which helps the centre of gravity and takes either a mini or a full-size tail servo. The moulded carbon tail boom is made by the same process as the ilGoblin 700 and weighs 100 g. A redesigned plastic ball linkage is stronger and needs less maintenance. Batteries slide in from the rear on a tray with integrated connectors, so the canopy stays on.

The 520 runs SAB's 520 mm main and 82 mm tail blades. It gives a 1220 mm rotor disc from a compact 6S package, and the included 17T motor pulley sits within a wide range of main ratios, so you can set head speed for sport or 3D flying. This kit comes in the orange ilGoblin PRO scheme with matching orange SAB blades.
