FTX Banzai Nitro 4WD 1/10 RTR RC Drift Car - White - FTX5534W

FTX's nitro-powered Banzai brings 2-stroke engine sound and smell to street and car-park drifting, aimed at a driver who already has some RC experience and wants more involvement than an electric drift car offers. This White version is one of two new colourways added alongside the existing red and green Banzai Nitro, and needs fuel, a glow igniter and batteries before its first run.

About the FTX Banzai Nitro

The Banzai Nitro is FTX's fuel-powered version of its established Banzai drift platform, arriving 95% ready to run with the pull-start engine, radio gear and White bodywork already fitted.

It uses the same aluminium chassis as FTX's nitro Carnage, with a centrally mounted engine driving all four wheels through a shaft drivetrain rather than belts. Metal crown, pinion and bevel differential gears at each end are built to take repeated drift impacts, and adjustable big-bore, oil-filled shocks give control over droop, camber, toe-in and wheelbase to tune the slide.

A FORCE .18 pull-start nitro engine drives a composite 2-piece tuned pipe via a 3-shoe clutch, giving stronger acceleration and top speed than a comparable brushed drift car, but it does mean learning to start, fuel and maintain a nitro engine rather than simply charging a battery. It's better suited to an experienced RC driver with somewhere to run and refuel than to someone wanting a simple first car.
