The SAB Goblin Kraken 580 Nitro is a 580-class flybarless nitro helicopter kit for .50 to .60 size heli engines. It is the glow-powered member of SAB's Kraken family and is aimed at experienced nitro pilots who want a high-performance 3D machine. SAB describes it as the most powerful and agile 50-size nitro model it has made.

The Kraken 580 Nitro uses the separated transmission layout first seen on the Kraken 700. The gearbox is enclosed, the side frames are integrated, and the rotor head is tunable. It takes main blades from 550 to 600 mm and tail blades from 95 to 105 mm, and gearing can be changed using commonly available pulleys. The cyclic servos are mini size (35 mm), with standard 40 mm servos as an option, and the tail uses a standard 40 mm servo. A 440 ml fuel tank is fitted.

The Kraken 580 Nitro is built for aggressive 3D flying, and the tunable head lets you adjust how the helicopter feels on the sticks. This version comes in SAB's Orange & Blue colour scheme and is supplied with 570 mm main blades and 95 mm tail blades.
