About the Team Associated RC10DS Classic

The RC10DS Classic Dual Sport is a 1/10 scale on-road kit reissuing Team Associated's original RC10DS platform, built around a 2WD, kit-form chassis rather than a pre-assembled car.

The chassis uses a black anodised aluminium tub with a moulded composite rear shock tower, computer-designed, race-tuned suspension and adjustable front and rear anti-roll bars, driven through a Stealth transmission fitted with an A.T.C. slipper clutch and geared at an internal ratio of 2.25:1. Scale mesh-style chrome wheels are wrapped in semi-pneumatic tyres tuned to hook up on hard surfaces.

Because it's a bare kit, there's no motor, speed control, servo, radio or battery included, and the body is clear Lexan that needs painting before it goes anywhere, so factor in spray paint and the usual RC electronics on top of the kit price. It suits an experienced builder more than someone wanting a first RC, since there's assembly, wiring and finishing to do before the first run.
