Build It Yourself or Buy Ready to Launch - The Choice Is Yours

Whether you’re a professional RC racer or simply enjoy the hobby, we stock a large number of models in the following styles:

Assembled/Ready to Run (RTR) models come complete and ready to go. However, as the models increase in features and subsequently get more expensive, you’ll find that RTR packages will not contain batteries and chargers unless offered in one of our package deals.

Part Assembled/Almost Ready to Run (ARTR) RC on-road cars come with all parts included. However, you will find that the controller, receivers, batteries and chargers are omitted. This allows the flexibility of using your own controller and whatever batteries you already have.

Unassembled RC cars (KIT) are the ultimate make-it-yourself models. These kits come complete but unassembled, while the electronics need to be bought separately. However, this allows plenty of flexibility whenchoosing your own motor, ESC, battery and transmitter to complete your build.

Electric On Road RC vs. Nitro - Which Is Right for You?

Electric andnitro-powered on-road RC cars each have their own pros and cons. Electric models are easier to use and maintain, with no messy fuel mixing. Battery-powered electrics also run cleaner and quieter.

Nitro cars deliver a more realistic driving experience, complete with engine sounds and exhaust. They can be more powerful with higher top speeds. But nitro engines require careful tuning, break-in, and fuel mixing.

We'd suggest electric RC cars are better for most hobbyists due to their simplicity and low maintenance. You get to focus on the driving. But die-hard nitro fans still love the raw power and hands-on tinkering that are the hallmarks of this RC technology.
