More of the same from our Czech modellers who rarely produce a bad plane. The Tiger is a biplane addition to the Street Fighter range - but it has been placed in the 3d aerobatic group as it is truly so manoeuvrable that with the right set-up you can do the usual aerobatic/pattern, though not a true 3d routine, indoors.
A caricature of the old Tiger Moth this plane, apart from flying great, is also so very cute anda model one can fall in love with. The kit contains Epp hand cut parts, digitally airbrushed by a new technique used by Freeair. The result is a well-designed and executed model. The model is straight forward to build, but due to the typical biplane riging that in this case is carbon rods, it will need the input of an experienced modeller to align the flying surfaces. A well-built model will give great pleasure with its delightful flying manners. Our sample prototype was built in 3-4 hours and uses the new tiny 13gm Hyperion P1705/11 motor with 2 cell 400-700 lipo and gives incredible performance.
To get flying you need –
Motor : Hyperion P1705/11 , 6x3 prop , Light 10amp Esc , Micro Rx 4ch , 1 7-9gm aileron servo , + 2 x 4-5gm servo , 350-700 2 cell Lipo. Target weight should be 150-170gm
The model is just off the production line and only very basic instructions are available awaiting a more comprehensive update.
