This JST (Japan Solderless Terminal) RCYandnbsp;connectorandnbsp;is commonly known in RC circles as a BEC (battery eliminator circuit) battery connector. It is keyed so that power cannot be reversed (unless of course you wire it up incorrectly!)
This item is the socket, assembled with top quality red and black silicone leads.
Note: In RC circles, this item is often incorrectly called the 'female' connector simply because the male plugs into the this socket. However, because this socket carries the crimp pins (as opposed to 'sockets') its correct classification is 'male'.
To clarify this confusion, you will find that in RC circles this connector is invariably the one fitted to the speed controller
