The construction of the Klaun combines advantages of the classical wooden construction and EPP material. Wing construction is a built up balsa frame with the leading edge & wingtips made from EPP. Classically constructed rudder and stabiliser are strong and light while softer EPP fuselage protects them from impact. Klaun is not suitable for beginners, but its hybrid construction makes it an ideal model for practicing aerobatics.
A suitable motor for this plane would be a Hyperion 2209 or 2213 size motor running on 3 lithium cells.
