This switch-mode UBEC is a DC-DC regulator that is ideal for use with any OPTO type ESC. It enables you to power your receiver & servos from your main flight pack without the need for a separate receiver pack.
The output is a consistent, safe voltage for your receiver and servos and also a gyro when used on a helicopter.
The benefit of using a switch-mode UBEC over a linear mode UBEC is its greater overall efficiency.
