This clever little device comes with a velcro strap to go around your lipo battery to monitor the temperature throughout the flight. It plugs into the JST-XH balance port of the battery (2-6s) and will then send the temperature to your hand-held meter on the ground so you know when the pack is getting too warm.
The transmitter takes the power needed from the lipo's balance port.
